며칠전에 3권책이 도착했습니다.
기쁜 마음으로 열어본 책에 깜짝 놀랐습니다.
생각보다 많이 짤려 나갔더군요.
색감도 엉망이고~
그래서 혹시 CMYK???
포토샵으로 CMYK로 변환시켜 보곤 좀 실망했습니다.
인쇄물은 당연히 CMYK로 변환해서 수정해야 하는데,
미처 그 생각을 못했었네요.
CreateSpace에 책을 출판하실 때는 CMYK 컬러로 작업하는 거 잊지 마세요.
그리고 사이즈는 아래 그림과 같습니다.
중앙 안쪽에도 대략 0.08 inch씩 양쪽으로 0.16 inch가 짤려나가네요.
이점 감안해서 작업해주셔야 할 것 같습니다.
PDF로 보내는 설정과 무관하게 짤라버리는군요.
지금 새로 작업 중에 있습니다.
다음에는 이 작업 과정을 공개해서 예로 보여드리도록 하겠습니다.
8×10인치에서 24장 이하의 그림책일 경우에는 각 0.125 inch가 잘려나갑니다.
따라서 포토샵으로 작업하실 경우에는
Width 16.75 inch
Height 10.25 inch
가 되겠습니다.
Width는 약간 넉넉히 잡겠습니다.
Finally, the paper book #3 has arrived a few days ago.
I was so delighted to open the box but I was surprised.
The pictures cut out so much than I though.
Also the colors were mess...
So for CMYK???
I was a bit disappointed after convert it to CMYK in Photoshop.
I realized that the print needs to modify CMYK of course,
which I never thought so far.
Do not forget to work with CMYK color
when you publish your book in CreateSpace.
And the size is shown in the figure below.
The center of the inside has cut out by 0.08inch from the both side,
approximately 0.16inch altogether.
You have to consider about this when you work.
It is chop off regardless of the setting to send as a PDF.
Therefore I'm working on new one now.
I'll show you this process later for an example.
If your book is 8×10inch and less than 24 pages long,
each one will cut off 0.125inch.
Therefore, when you work with Photoshop,
the width should be 16.75inch,
and the height should be 10.25inch.
You should leave the margin big enough for the width.
